The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is a public space with free access to a variety cultural, educational, sporting, environmental and recreative activities. With a total area of 210.000 m2 it includes the building facilities of the National Library of Greece and the National Opera as well as an urban park and other facilities. The 210-acre park is one of the largest green spots in Athens.

The SNFCC has been designed and operated to make all visitors feel welcomed. All areas, indoor and outdoor, are accessible to people with disabilities, while special care has also been given to people over 65, who may have reduced mobility. The SNFCC is in Kallithea, a few meters from Faliriko Bay. It is located about 5km from the center of Athens.
