Vip Transfer Experiences proposes another special tour in the center of the capital with the first stop being the Orthodox Cathedral of Athens (popularly known as the Metropolis), which is dedicated to the Annunciation of Virgin Mary and is in Metropolis Square on the homonymous street. Its construction began in 1842 and was completed in 1862. The type of the church is cruciform three-aisled basilica with a dome. A few years after its completion it became the Metropolitan church of the capital of the Greek state in which many important religious ceremonies took place, such as weddings and funerals of kings, prime ministers, and dignitaries.
